Maxxis - Gripping the Road Since 1967

Maxxis was founded in 1967 in Taiwan, initially as a subsidiary of Cheng Shin Rubber Company, with the ambition to produce top-quality tires for a diverse range of vehicles.

From its inception, the company manufactured bicycle tires. Over the decades, it gradually expanded its operations to other market segments, including tires for motorcycles and ATVs, such as the MU-10 Big Horn quad tire, as well as tires for lawn and garden equipment, karting, and ultimately, the automotive industry, covering passenger cars, 4x4 vehicles, and light trucks.

Right from the start, the company aimed to build customer loyalty from an early age, offering tires tailored to bicycles and cars, based on their needs and different life stages.
